How We Started

John Anker hauled hay for a local farmer in the late 1970's. When the farmer retired John purchased the rights to the company growing Anker Trucking from a one man show to our current operations of more than 25 power units and 30 trailers. Some of John's 7 brothers have worked or are still employed with Anker Trucking.  Amazingly everyone of John's children, 8 sons and 2 daughters, also have worked for, or are currently employed with, Anker Trucking in some capacity with 9 of the 10 holding a CDL.  While the rest of us that work for Anker may not be "family" we sure do feel like family. That's the way we treat our customers, like family.  When you contract with Anker you can rest well knowing your goods are being handled with care.  You are our priority.
